Hydrothermal Well IEB-1 – Srebrno jezero

The aim of the research was to determine the conditions and possibilities of exploitation of groundwater in Srebrno Jezero near Veliko Gradište. A wireline exploration well was performed using the HQ method diameter to a depth of 522.00 m. The well was built mostly of marl / clay and sandy – pebbly sediments. The carotid tests were carried out to a depth of 509.5 m using the following: a method of specific electrical resistance, a method of own potential, a method of natural radioactivity and temperature measurement.

The temperature change with depth was not equal. The distribution of the temperature gradient is due to the temperature conductivity of the lithological segments and their displacement along the depth, as well as the amount of water found in these lithological segments
